85 A mechanized cartridge provides optimal production performance when cutting within the thickness range of 10 mm (3/8″) to 16 mm (5/8″) thick. This Hypertherm SYNC cartridge (Hypertherm 428934) is designed to deliver consistent cut quality, speed, and reliability when used within its recommended range. Exceeding optimal thickness can result in decreased cut quality and slower speeds. To maximize cartridge life and overall performance, always select the correct amperage cartridge for the material you are cutting.

As part of the Hypertherm SYNC consumables system, this cartridge helps streamline consumable changes while maintaining consistent performance across mechanized cutting applications.

• SmartSYNC™ torches for the Powermax85/105 SYNC™ systems
• Duramax® torches using a torch adapter* for Powermax85®/105 systems
• Mechanized cartridges can also be used on hand torches when cutting with a stand-off is desired, offering additional flexibility depending on your setup and application.
