The Hypertherm HyAccess Gouging Cartridge 428987 is a genuine OEM cartridge designed for precision gouging and metal removal in tight or hard-to-reach areas. Featuring a patented extended-length design and narrow profile, the Hypertherm 428987 allows operators to access confined spaces more easily while maintaining consistent gouging performance and control.

As part of Hypertherm’s advanced lineup of Hypertherm consumables and plasma torch consumables, the HyAccess gouging cartridge is engineered to optimize productivity and improve operational efficiency in demanding fabrication and industrial environments. When paired with a SmartSYNC™ torch and Powermax SYNC® system, the cartridge automatically communicates with the system to set the correct amperage, air pressure, and operating mode for optimal gouging performance.

The Hypertherm 428987 also features integrated RFID technology that records cartridge and cutting data directly from the power supply or with a compatible cartridge reader (part number 528083). This allows operators to monitor consumable usage, track performance, and better understand cutting efficiency over time.
