SuperGlaze 5556 is a high strength Aluminum Magnesium Manganese alloy. It is commonly used for welding high strength base materials like 5083 and provides good strength on 6XXX base materials.

• Provides higher tensile strengths for welding of higher strength 5XXX alloys
• Increased amounts of magnesium and manganese for excellent corrosion resistance
• High Columnar strength
• Not recommended for prolonged elevated service temperatures (150F)
• Alloy embossed on each rod for easy identification
