Constructed around the industry-leading FANUC Arc Mate welding robots, the Ferris Wheel system provides consistently high throughput. The three-axis positioner features two headstock/tailstock positioners that are swapped from the operator loading station to the robot and back again with the main sweep axis. Two positioners enable the robot to achieve high arc-on time and provide you with high productivity. All motions are servo controlled within the robot program so you can optimize welding positions, loading position and speeds. Coordinated Motion is available so you can weld continuously while rotating the fixture/part.

• Scalable Ferris Wheel design allows us to stretch or shrink the design to perfectly fit your application without added cost
• Extra heavy payloads can be handled with upsized servo motors and gearboxes
• Generally, the span between the headstock and the tailstock is 2 to 3 meters and the payload is in the 500kg range but can be easily customized to fit your needs
• We don’t force a small, medium or large system decision on you, we look at the scope of your parts to be welded and configure the system accordingly – customization with confidence!
• Choose between Lincoln, Miller, OTC or Fronius welding equipment, or let our experts make a recommendation
• The typical configuration is for MIG welding steel but simple variations allow MIG for aluminum, TIG welding, Plasma cutting and Laser welding
• Increase your productivity by adding 1 or 2 additional robots – more arcs = more parts!
• Fully enclosed arc flash and safety barrier
• Provide your own fixture and begin programming or fallback on our fixture design, fixture build and programming services
• Using our proven system building process, we provide better delivery times on our tailored design systems than others with fixed design standardized systems
