Model 88-5 FBT (R&L) torch-type FlashGuard® flashback arrestor prevents the reverse flow of gases with built-in check valves. It extinguishes flashback fire with a stainless steel sintered element. The 100 micron inlet filter helps keep dust and dirt out. Due to flow capacity, this model should not be used with tip sizes larger than No. 5 hand cutting tips (except No. 4-NFF), No. 5-1/2 machine cutting tips, No. 4 acetylene heating tips, No. 2 alternate fuel heating tips and No. 2 RBP cleaning head (no limitation with RBA). This model features 9/16 in. -18 CGA B-size connections. It is for use with oxygen and fuel gas.
