Details

WEARSHIELD® SUPER RAIL™ stick electrode is ideal for hardfacing of austenitic manganese alloys. The deposit will only slightly distort on impact, work hardens without cracking and reduces carbon steel repairs by 50%. Typical applications include rail ends/points and rail crossing points. It can only be welded in the flat and horizontal positions.
